Message	I have spoken with the guys at G-Force Transmissions in PA and they say they can build a trans for the 300ZXTT using dog gears that will shift fast and take the abuse. I have never driven a car with dog gears, but it does not sound like fun for every day driving. I do have a "donor transmission" I will be taking to them for measurements and engineering so they can quote a price. They said there is nothing they can do to make the stock syncros work better in our trans. I installed a new 97 model trans last year and it's only OK, not great. It did last the season however but as it heats up I'll miss second to third shifts on a regular basis....no way to win races. My best times so far are 10.7 at 131MPH...I know the car can do better. The trans hates the 1st to 2nd shifts at 8000RPMs.... They are at: [ www.g-forcetransmissions.com ] Maybe if we do 2 transmissions they will give us some better pricing???
